"Groundedness does not eliminate passion, productivity, or all forms of striving and ambition. Instead, it is about ditching an omnipresent and frantic anxiety to begin living in alignment with your innermost values, pursuing your interests, and expressing your authentic self in the here and now. When you are grounded there is no need to look up or down. You are where you are, and you hold true strength and power from that position. Your success, and the way in which you pursue it, becomes more enduring and robust. You gain the confidence to opt out of the consumer-driven rat-race that leaves you feeling like you are never enough."

If grounded, then fruit manifests. This is a nice one. There is alignment with my innermost values

An honest yes to the above. I am who I am. I accept me and in that same way I accept the one who is not me.

Very true and a way of looking at life that I have, for the most part, adhered to. If you haven’t, try reading “The teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui way of knowledge”.

I love this. I am chuckling since my post today is about lift-off in defiance of gravity. Seemingly opposing thoughts but oh so connected.

When I do my yoga, I know this. When I don’t, I need to be reminded. Still fascinates me how the body and mind are tied together.

You’re absolutely right. It’s incredible how they come together. There’s a great quote by Nietzsche, โThere is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophy.โ

Wonderful quote! Life is interesting. There are days that we are 200% grounded, then other days where we wake up and for no reason, we are at 1%… and we KNOW it is up to us to somehow fill up our spiritual tank, so that we are once again at 200% grounded. ๐ Thanks for the inspiration!

That’s quite true. It’s always a journey of up and down. Balance is a vital part of it ๐

This is a description for ‘Becoming Honest With Yourself’, which isn’t clearly understood in todays world! Christ and Buddha both taught this as the fundamental beginning to the rest of their teachings/guidance! ๐

I think groundedness is is also fully anchored from the concept of living in the now. “You are where you are, and you hold true strength and power from that position.” This is so true.

This post reminds me of the Lotus flower. It’s exquisite! Grows in murky water and is grounded.
