Haha. Interesting thought. I’ve never had a haunted feeling in the dark when in Namibia. Mostly because my mindset is more focused on real predators roaming freely compared to ghosts or spirits that might try and say hello. 😀
It was a brilliant experience. When I did it you just got off the tourist train at Km….(don’t remember), crossed the river and started walking. The people who got off the train – about a dozen or so of all nationalities – formed a group sort of. We all made camp together but during the days walk everyone kept to their own pace. We passed through fantastic scenery of the high Andes. Never saw a soul up there. After three days arrived at Inti Punku, which is the guard post on the trail high above the city and the next morning went down through the mist into the ruins. As the train from Cuzco doesn’t srrive until late morning we had the place to ourselves. Wonderful. Unforgettable.

It looks quite good but if it would be in night then it would look awesome and very much haunted!
