Wise advice – It’s good to keep in mind to prevent burnout in my work, and good for creating in general.

I’ve found the same simplicity is great in my artwork. I prefer to work in extremely limited color palettes, black, white, and maybe one added color, as it feels so much more symbolic to the message of the piece.

It’s indeed wise advice. Coming from one of the best chefs in the world. Attributing part of his success to the philosophy of keeping it simple and working with what you have. It sounds like that is exactly what you embody in your artwork by working with a limited color palette.
Do you enjoy that challenge of limiting yourself and then discovering how far you can push your creativity? 🙂

Definitely; although I would say I enjoy avoiding the challenge of coloring the normal way more…. haha

Haha. That’s an interesting way to view it. It’s great to hear you have your own unique style that’s challenging you in a fun way. 🙂
